Fair questions, straight answers
How do I order?
Two ways, both ending on WhatsApp. Add packs to the basket and use checkout — it writes your order and total into a WhatsApp message for you to send. Or press the order button on any product page, which opens a chat with that product filled in. We reply with delivery options for your PIN code and confirm the order in the same chat.
Are the prices on the site the final amount?
The price on each pack is the current MRP and it is what you pay for the goods. Delivery is the only thing added on top: we confirm the charge for your PIN code in the WhatsApp reply, before you pay anything.
What does "chemical-free" actually mean here?
No washing soda or bleaching agents in the jaggery, no polishing agents or added colour in the turmeric, no preservatives or anti-caking agents in anything. Each product is one ingredient: the crop itself.
What is special about Lakadong turmeric?
Lakadong is grown in the Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya and holds GI Registration No. 741 (2024). The supplier's report on the crop puts it at 6.5–8.5% curcumin — a figure we publish because we can support it. It is the turmeric to use where you want haldi to actually work.
Where does your everyday turmeric come from?
The Sangli belt in Maharashtra, the region that made turmeric its trade — much of ours from fields our founder converted from sugarcane, the rest from partner growers in the same soil. It is boiled, sun-dried and ground whole, with no polishing agents, no added colour and no fillers.
Do you ship across India?
Yes — we confirm delivery options and charges for your PIN code on WhatsApp when you order. Dispatch details are in our shipping policy.
How should I store jaggery and turmeric?
Both like airtight containers away from sunlight and moisture. Jaggery can soften in humid weather — that is natural cane sugar behaviour, not spoilage. Turmeric and sunth keep their punch for months if the lid stays tight.
What does the name THE2WINS mean?
Two things at once. It names the Khochare twins — the sisters who run THE2WINS, and the two figures on our badge — and it states our philosophy of two wins on every order: pure, healthy food for the family that eats it, and fair trade with a better livelihood for the farmer who grows it.
Who is behind THE2WINS?
THE2WINS was started by Mrs. Khochare in Sangli, Maharashtra, and is run today by her twin daughters; her husband, Captain Mahesh Khochare (Retd.), a 25-year Indian Navy veteran, leads the farmer-facing work. It is the retail brand of the family firm VAshwini Enterprises (founded September 2023). Read the full story on our About page.

Unpolished haldi is a range, not one shade
Real turmeric varies by variety, season and how long it was boiled. These are lots from our own procurement — the differences you can see here are the differences a polishing drum and a dye would hide.
